Local Community Fridges

There are several community fridges based in Guildford which you can use if you are in need of food. You don’t need a referral and can go as often as you need. Please contact the Community Fridges directly for information about operating days and opening hours.


Tuesday Zero Community Fridge

10.30 – 1.00 pm, St Nicolas’ Parish Church Guildford, Bury Street, GU2 4AW

Thursday Zero Community Fridge

10.30 – 1.00 pm, Quaker Meeting House, Ward Street, GU1 4 LH

– surplus food will be available and given out freely to all who come along 

– they operate a random lottery number queuing system for the first hour from 10.30 – 11.30 to make sure the food is given out in a fair way

– then after 11.30, the food is free to be taken on a drop-in basis

– they do limit the number of items each person can take to make sure that the food that day is shared between many
