Local Community Fridges

There are several community fridges based in Guildford which you can use if you are in need of food. You don’t need a referral and can go as often as you need. Please contact the Community Fridges directly for information about operating days and opening hours.

Open Monday – Saturday 10 – 4 pm

– surplus food will be available and given out freely to all who come along 

– they operate a random lottery number queuing system for the first hour from 10.30 – 11.30 to make sure the food is given out in a fair way

– then after 11.30, the food is free to be taken on a drop-in basis

– they do limit the number of items each person can take to make sure that the food that day is shared between many

Mid Surrey Community Fridges – Ideal for clients who are out of North Guildford Foodbank area

Mid Surrey Community Fridges make food available through sites or mobile vans in Dorking, Leatherhead, Westcott, Box Hill, Newdigate, South Bookham, Beare Green, Rickwood Park, Capel and Pixham. There is no charge for the food but they appreciate a small donation from anyone who collects food from them. Visit website for exact times and locations.
